Rain Rain Go Away...

~WOW~ Rain. Lot's and lot's of rain. I can't see well especially in the mornings. I went to the door to let the dog out and looked towards the meadow and the branch. (A small, very small, stream that runs through our property.) I was looking for deer. I saw something funny and kept looking.... omg! It is the branch! There is white water on (in?) the branch! I was thinking we probably didn't have a driveway anymore. I got in the car to go look. Wheww..driveway is still there! You can see where the water has washed over it though. I wish ...OH I WISH... we had had the heavy equipment here and could have gotten all this dug out before these rains came. I'd have my lake and pond today. The right hand side of the driveway IS a lake right now but it will all disappear. It will go on a journey through the branch, under the driveway to the creek then on to the stream (all on our property) and make it's way to the ocean eventually. If I were younger and it was warmer I'd be out there playing in it! I should go take pictures!!!
